We continue to cherish the memory of Cardinal Stephen Kim Sou-hwan, who stood with the most marginalized and vulnerable, at times like a father and at other times like a friend, always from the lowest place. Even after his death, he gave the gift of sight to two people through the donation of his corneas and shared the remaining KRW 3.4 million in his bank account with migrant workers.
Until the final moments of his life, Cardinal Kim emphasized Jesus’ teaching, “Love your neighbor as yourself.” His virtuous life and spirit continue today through the Babo Nanum Foundation.
You can honor his memory and carry forward his spirit of love and sharing through memorial and legacy giving. Each small act of generosity becomes a meaningful contribution toward the beatification and canonization of the Servant of God, Cardinal Kim.
